The brake fluid flush is the most common and vital flush that must be conducted. Over time dirt, grime, dust, and water can get into the brakes, causing them to fail. To determine whether it’s time for a flush, take a look at the brake fluid.  Healthy brake fluid should be clear, so it is time for a flush if it’s brown. If you smell burning, it could mean your brakes are failing, and you need to repair them immediately.

Similar to the brake fluid, the transmission oil tends to collect dirt and grime. If enough gets trapped in the transmission, then it can become clogged.  What the transmission oil flush does is flush out any foreign substances before it causes catastrophic failure. The disastrous failure of the transmission could cost $3,500 for parts alone! We recommend changing your transmission fluid every 75,000 to 100,000-miles.

This fuel flush is recommended at every 30,000-miles for most vehicles. This flush is conducted in three parts. First, the component flushes the fuel line, and injectors. The second part cleans carbon deposits from combustion chambers. The final part is cleaning the air intake systems. The junk that was blocking your fuel system is cleared out—causing your vehicle’s gas mileage to go up.

Power steering fluid is an unfiltered fluid. Over time the additives in the fluid wear out and abrasive particulates accumulate in the fluid causing wear on moving parts. Periodic flushing will extend the life of the power steering pump as well as the Rack and Pinion unit. Our ASE-certified mechanics will determine if a vehicle needs this flush by inspecting the power steering fluid. If they see black gritty substances or smell a burning scent, a flush will be recommended.

Vehicles with rear-wheel drive require a particular flush called a rear differential service. This is flush ensures the prevention of slipping, locking, and breakdown. In addition, this provides proper lubrication and allows all the components to work in synchrony. It’s best to have this flush performed at 75,000-miles.
