Patrice Banks and her Girls Auto Clinic are coming to Full Circle Service Center

Vehicles for Change is proud to announce that automotive sheCANic, Patrice Banks and her Girls Auto Clinic is coming to Full Circle Service Center on Saturday, September 30th from 1-3 pm to promote her new book Girls Auto Clinic Glove Box Guide. The book is a one-stop do-it-herself guide to auto maintenance, repairs, and roadside emergencies.

Banks, who has gained the attention of the national media, has been spotlighted in O magazine, the television show Harry and on CBS, NBC and ABC news programs. She is unapologetic in her attempts to disrupt the automotive industry. Wearing red heels while working on cars, Banks is doing things her own way and influencing women to learn more about their cars and get into the automotive field.

The one-time self-described “Auto Airhead” was an engineer at Dupont, before recognizing the disparity between the number of women who are automotive consumers and those that are in the industry. It was that disparity that inspired her to get trained as an auto tech.

Banks is not just a mechanic, she is also the owner of the Girls Auto Clinic Repair Center in Upper Darby, PA.  Her auto repair shop guests do not only have the opportunity to get an oil change but they can also get a mani-pedi and be refreshed at the facility’s Clutch Bar while waiting for their car. Her passion and life’s achievement is now being fulfilled with the release of the Girls Auto Clinic Glove Box Guide on September 19th.

The Women and Wheels Car Care Clinic and Book Signing will take place at Full Circle Service Center, located at 4111 Washington Blvd, Halethorpe, MD 21227. This event is free and open to the public but clinic-goers must register. Click here to reserve your spot.

Lite fare will be served. For more information, contact 410-242-0732 or FullCircle@vehiclesforchange.org.
